A pretty, teal-blue, indicolite tourmaline thumbnail from the famous Santa Rosa Mine. The gemmy, lustrous, striated, and layered crystal has interesting variable shades of teal-blue below the glassy, deep purple termination with chevron-shaped faces. The interior of the base is hollow for 1.0 cm. Nifty! This is old-time material from this noted locale, dating to the 1960s or 70s. Complete all-around and essentially pristine.
