Indicolite is a varietal term used specifically for blue Tourmalines. Of the many hues of Tourmaline in the world, blue is one of the most popular among collectors and dealers. This is a very attractive stone with a beautiful deep "Indicolite" blue color and a "Cushion" cut. The stone has some slight inclusions, but this is par for the course, as they are classified as a "Type 3" stone which means that the large majority of gems are included and these inclusions are accepted by collectors and dealers, so a gem like this is not judged in the same way that other stones are in terms of inclusions.
