When you think about the truly thousands of localities around the world where Tourmaline is found, the prestigious Pederneira Mine is certainly in the highest of echelons. This renowned locality has been the source of some of the most impressive, iconic, highly displayable and colorful Tourmaline specimens in the world for many year. This beautiful cabinet sized piece is a classic gemmy Indicolite Tourmaline from circa 2010 finds. The lustrous, striated, silvery-blue prismatic trigonal crystal shows good internal gemminess and is complete all around. The piece has a couple clean repairs, which is certainly acceptable in the context of these specimens, as nearly all of the bigger crystals from this mine have been repaired. VERY DIFFICULT to photograph correctly with the gemminess, luster and striations. Specimen weight is 11.2 grams. A fine, classic gem Pederneira Indicolite. Priced at $1,350 in the inventory.
