Item Description

Inderite is a rare hydrated Mg-borate and terminated crystals are RARE. The finest examples of the species come from 1960s finds at this large open pit, the world's largest borax mine. This is a superb, gemmy, colorless tabular crystal with alteration on the sides and termination. The specimen is illustrated twice in the Inderite Photo Gallery for the locale.
