Item Description
An old-time, rare, sculptural and colorful large phosphate combination polished nodule from this famous locale. Banded multi-hued yellow-green and brown crandallite surrounds fantatically elongated pods of banded gray-blue wardite. This mine is the Type Locality for wardite. The Little Green Monster Mine is famous for outstanding green variscite nodules with other phosphates, but this RARE and exceptional piece LACKS variscite! Valued at $750-1000 for size, color, richness, and history - at LEAST. ex Renato Pagano collection, found circa early 1900s.
