A sculptural cluster of botryoidal Mottramite from the famous 2011 find at the Ojuela Mine in Mexico, which many consider the best of species. This sculptural piece consists of rich, matte, dark olive green, stacked and clumped botryoids of Mottramite that are aesthetic and remarkably undamaged. This is a showy and significant cabinet specimen of rounded Mottramite that is pristine and very attractive! We can confirm that this was one of the bigger and better examples of the find at the time, and no more have come out since from this locality of any quality. For decades Tsumeb was the prestigious locality for Mottramite until this significant discovery! Donated by Stuart Wilensky to the Museum's benefit, including a custom base for free. Valued $15000
