Lustrous, metallic, jet-black, striated, manganite prisms to about 1.9 cm densely rise up from the intergrown manganite with a bit of barite matrix on this very fine and rich old-timer from Ilfeld. This historic piece is NOT just a "black rock" by any means. It displays beautifully from either side. Excellent crystals, rich coverage, good size, high luster and fine form make this an excellent and affordable small cabinet Classic material. Large showy pieces like this are not readily available!
