A gem of a 9-piece deal of BOTH varietals of gemmy "imperial" topaz crystals from Ouro Preto. Imperial topaz from Ouro Preto, Brazil is a "Holy Grail" topaz varietal, most collectors look for. The 6 larger crystals are the classic, gorgeous, gemmy and lustrous, complete all-around, striated crystals with beautiful, variable golden-orange color and excellent luster and fire. The internal veils add character. The 3 smaller crystals are the much rarer pretty pink varietal. Very nearly pristine, except for trivial termination bruising. Highly representative crystals. 28 grams total mass. The large crystal is 10 grams (50 carats) and the 3 pink ones have 1 gram mass. Sets such as this are VERY RARELY on the market.
