Item Description
The most famous Imperial Topaz gems are those from Ouro Preto, Brazil. This well-known variety is most often seen in golden-orange colored crystals, but a VERY small percentage of these crystals occur in pink/purple/lavender shades, and they're sometimes clean enough to produce faceted stones. This "Half Round" cut gem is a very attractive Imperial Topaz with a VERY rare lavender color. The stone is virtually eye clean, and would make for a nice piece of jewelry or as an addition to your gem collection. These gems are becoming harder and harder to obtain these days, and if you know somebody with a November birthday, this would be an excellent gift idea, as Topaz is the birthstone for that month.
