"Imperial" topaz from Ouro Preto, Brazil is a "Holy Grail" topaz varietal, most collectors look for. This classic, gorgeous, gemmy and lustrous, complete all-around, striated crystal has beautiful, golden-yellow color and excellent luster and fire. This beauty is pristine, with no internal crazing and is facet quality. The contact near the base has no damage, per se. We found this set-aside lot in the move, and I had bought it years ago in a large deal. I cannot replace them today for prices they go for here. Older material. 24.92 carats or 5 grams. Valued at $300-400. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!
