"Imperial" topaz from Ouro Preto, Brazil is a "Holy Grail" topaz varietal, most collectors look for. This classic, gorgeous, gemmy and lustrous, complete all-around, very well-striated crystal have beautiful, golden-yellow color and excellent luster and fire. It has very little internal crazing and is facet quality. The prism and termination faces are lightly etched. Complete all-around, those are two contact notches at the base, where other crystals once lay. I bought this years ago in a large deal and I cannot replace them today for prices they go for here. Older material. 29.84 carats or 6 grams. Valued at $400-500. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!
