"Imperial" topaz from Ouro Preto, Brazil is a "Holy Grail" topaz varietal, most collectors look for. This classic, gorgeous, gemmy and lustrous, complete all-around, striated crystal has beautiful, golden-orange color and excellent luster and fire. This gem crystal has NO internal crazing, adding value and the classic chisel termination adds character. A fine, cutter-grade, crystal from the renowned locale. Nearly pristine, the minor edge wear in one spot is noted, but is certainly not a detraction to this stunning crystal. 26.63 carats or over 5 grams. Valued at $600-700. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON! We found this set-aside lot in the move, and I had bought it years ago in a large deal. I cannot replace them today for prices they go for here.
