"Imperial" topaz from Ouro Preto, Brazil is a "Holy Grail" topaz varietal, most collectors look for. This classic, gorgeous, gemmy and lustrous, complete all-around, very well-striated crystal have beautiful, golden-yellow color and excellent luster and fire. It has almost no internal crazing and is facet quality. The termination faces are lightly etched. Complete all-around and essentially pristine, with only a bit of contacting at the base. I bought this years ago in a large deal and I cannot replace them today for prices they go for here. Older material. 16.99 carats or over 3 grams. Valued at $300-400. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!
