Item Description

Arguably the most famous Topaz locality in either Pakistan or Afghanistan is Katlang. It has produced some of the most amazing intense "imperial" Topaz crystals in the world, ranging for orange to pink to red. This gem has a "narrow emerald" cut, and if you look closely, you'll see it's actually bi-colored, showing a VERY pale pink hue on one side and a VERY pale orange hue on the other side. The color is 100% natural, and has not been treated in any way. Pink is a rare color for Topaz in nature, and even though this gem doesn't have a dark color, it's clearly pink when you view it in front of a dark background. Outside of the Imperial Topaz crystals from Brazil, their Pakistani counterparts are the only gems available on the market with this coloring, and should be respected and appreciated for what they are.
