Classic material from Brazil, where some of the most iconic Imperial Topaz crystals have been found, This thumbnail sized specimen is a good quality, translucent, soft orange colored, sharp, single prism with a typical steep termination. While the color is a bit more pastel, it is definitely orange, and shows no "brown" hues. The termination has a bit of surface etching and there are couple contacts, so it's not pristine, but it's still a nice example of this well-known material from Ouro Preto. Weight is 6.48 grams.
