Item Description
Imperial topaz from Ouro Preto, Brazil is a "Holy Grail" topaz varietal, most collectors look for. This classic, gorgeous, gemmy and lustrous, complete all-around, striated crystal has beautiful, golden-orange color and excellent luster and fire. This excellent crystal has very little internal crazing, adding character. A very fine crystal from this less well-known Ouro Preto locale. Pristine. Two contacts are noted on one side, but there is no damage, per se. This is a facet quality specimen. 4 grams mass. Ex Bob Farrar Collection. Valued at $595 by the former dealer. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!
