Imperial Jasper

Imperial Jasper is the name given to the banded Jasper from Mexico, which comes in a wide variety of colors. The material is beautiful when it is polished. This "Freeform Cabochon" cut gem has lovely sage, cream, tan, steel-blue and sky blue color banding creating a pattern resembling a slice of petrified wood. I have not seen many of these stones on the market over the years, but collectors know that this is some of the nicest banded Jasper from North America.
