Item Description
Highly unusual and fascinating ilvaite pseudomorph combination from this now famous remote Chinese deposit. An impressive 360-degree parallel-growth cluster of intergrown splendent luster, orthorhombic, jet-black ilvaite crystals have multiple chisel terminations. Two amazing and RARE pseudomorphs highlight the piece. Bone-white nubby quartz has replaced two well-placed Fluorite octahedrons, to 1.9 cm tall. An additional generation of quartz points, to 2.8 cm, scattered on all sides of this singular specimen adds even more character. The piece displays very well without aid.
