Item Description

Superb, sharp, well-formed, lustrous, jet black isolated crystals of Ilvaite with beautiful orthorhombic prismatic form and a textbook steep terminations measuring up to 1.7 cm associated with very sharp and gemmy, bipyramidal Quartz crystals on greenish-brown Hedenbergite from Dal'negorsk, Russia. The piece is in good shape overall, and displays beautifully as you can see. A nice small cabinet of this now hard to find material from Russia. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock. Valued at $950.
