Ilvaite pseudomorph (old - classic locale) ex Harvard

Item Description

A rare, old-time, mostly pseudomorphed and partially corroded, sharply terminated ilvaite crystal with side cars from the famed deposits on Elba Island. Such pseudos are very seldom seen and this is an exceptional 360-degree example with a fine provenance! The faded Harvard label probably dates from the late 1800s to early 1900s.
