Some of the finest US ilvaites come from this Idaho district. Intergrown, lustrous, sharp, jet-black crystals to 1.4 cm comprise this aesthetic and excellent two-sided thumbnail. Relatively uncommon, they compare very well to Dal'negorsk ilvaites.
