Item Description
A great specimen and a very rare locality piece from this wonderful old Italian island. Ilvaite is originally named after the island of Elba which is the type locality for the species. Interestingly enough, Elbaite is also named for the same locality. This is the only locality that I know of for which two species were named. ex Rich Kosnar collection, with his catalogue number 70-47 on the base. Valued at $975 retail.
