Dalnegorsk ilvaites are arguably the worlds finest and this is a fine miniature example. The sharply terminated, jet-black, crystal dominates this aesthetic cluster. Complete all-around. The upright crystals are all pristine. The angled blocky crystal has a broken end. This remains a very showy and highly representative example of the species and famous locale. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock. Valued by Herb at $350, over five years ago. Very few around today, except from recycled collections. These came out in the 1990s to early 2000s.
