Ilvaite And Quartz (superb TN)

Item Description

Exceptional cluster of sharp, lustrous Ilvaite crystals with excellent Quartz crystals. The Ilvaites have distinctive chisel point teminations. In fact, both the Ilvaites and the Quartzes are very nearly doubly-terminated, with both having almost complete second terminations. The longest Ilvaite is 1.8 cm and the largest Quartz is 1.3 cm. There is one small ding on the main crystal, but overall this is still a superb, aesthetic thumbnail - one of the finest I can recall seeing for this rare species.
