Item Description
These are some of the most overlooked and underrated specimens to come out of China in my mind. The largest Ilvaites from this locality are simply mind-blowing and really should be getting more attention from collectors. This particular piece is a wonderufl small cabinet consisting of a cluster of very sharp, lustrous, well-formed, black stout prisms of Ilvaite creating a three-dimensional piece. Typically the Ilvaites from this locality are oftne seen in single crystals, or even singles on matrix, but groups like this are not common in my experience. Valued at $950.
