Item Description
An excellent, 2.7 x 2.0 x 2.0 cm, complete all-around, sharp, lustrous, metallic gray-black ilmenite rhomb from this classic locale. The crystal is very jauntily set atop the hematitic matrix, with the flat base being the face of a very large ilmenite crystal! A very choice and rare older example of the species and locale. Ex Ralph Dietz Collection, well-known California collector, who passed away in 1993.
