Ilmenite (good quality)

Item Description

A rather well-formed, fairly thick (for Pakistani material), sharp, lustrous, metallic, silvery-grey colored Ilmenite crystal with good hexagonal form. The piece came labeled as coming from "Mulagori-Zeegai, Warsak, Pakistan", but I can't find a reference for Ilmenite coming from this locality, so I'm leaving it simply as Pakistan (it's possibly from Zagi Mountain). It's one of the best crystals I've seen from Pakistan because it's not a small "rosette", but a fine quality single crystal that measures a full two inches across. A great "Alpine Type" crystal that would fit nicely into any collection.
