Item Description
Hydrozincite forms in the oxidation zones of zinc deposits, ususally as masses or crusts. This is a very rich specimen from Mina Ojuela that is actually quite attractive, with a rich coating of little snowy botryoids coating shallow recesses on three sides of the sturdy, contrasting matrix of limonite. Specimens of this quality and richness date from about 1960 to 1970. Ex Consie Prince Collection. Super white fluorescence!
