Hydrozincite (fluorescent)

Item Description

A massively large cabinet specimen composed solidly of interesting and distinctive fluorescent hydrozincite. It does fluoresce a ghostly white color under SW. There are several groupings of bone white earthy popcorn texture across the top of the specimen with smaller botryoidal growths along the base. The hydrozincite does have some preferential orange-brown oxide tinting in recessed areas that adds character to the mostly white landscape. Underneath the dome shaped specimen is just as tantalizing. It displays a concave cast like feature full of vuggy texture. Ex.
