Item Description
Glassy, gemmy, sharply terminated, light mint-green, hydroxylherderite crystals are attractively attached to the mostly feldspar matrix on this showy and excellent specimen from the Herb Obodda dealer stock. The single gem crystal is 2.0 cm. The V-twin crystals on the other end reach 2.9 cm and have scattered coatings. The gem crystal is pristine and the other crystals are essentially pristine. Green hydroxylherderite only came out in a few pockets and is one of the rarest of Pakistan pegmatite species in specimen form. Choice and uncommon material in this style. Herb valued this piece at $500, more than 5 years ago. It is worth more today.
