Item Description

A fine hydroxylherderite miniature from Virgem da Lapa and the Robert Whitmore Collection. A 3.1 cm, lustrous, translucent, colorless to very light green hydroxylherderite crystal has strikingly angled indicolite-schorl crystals embedded on the sides. Lepidolite crystals on one tourmaline are a nice accent. It is a very rare association piece from an old find of the early 1970s or late 1960s
