Item Description
An outstanding and sculptural hydroxylherderite combination small cabinet from the well-known pegmatites of the Linopolis area. An impressive 5.3 cm sharply terminated gray-green, lustrous, translucent to coated crystal is dramatically set between twin towers. A 5.0 cm doubly terminated, pearlescent microcline crystal is on the left and starkly contrasting snow-white albite is on the right with lepidolite. A super accessory at the bottom is the pristine, 3.2 cm, doubly terminated hydroxylherderite crystal. Hydroxylherderite combinations with this crystal sharpness and exceptional quality in combination are RARE from here. Ex Wouter van Tichelen Collection.
