Item Description

A classic old time specimen featuring a few Hydroxylherderite crystals measuring up to 7 mm on a single, sharp, lustrous GEMMY crystal of Quartz with a few prismatic black Schorl crystals included inside. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#9279). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
