Item Description
A classic and highly desirable 2.3 cm doubly terminated light lavender hydroxylherderite from the famous, late 1960s find at the classic Xanda Mine. The very sharp glassy, gemmy/translucent crystal is dramatically perched atop the fabulously etched layered feldspar matrix, typical of the find. The crystal is complete all-around and nearly pristine. The small bruise along an outer crystal edge certainly has only minimal impact to the outstanding quality. You would be hard-pressed to design a more artistic and sculptural miniature combination from the famous find and locale. Valued at $500-750.
