Hydroxylherderite on Albite ex Obodda

Green hydroxylherderite only came out in a few pockets and is one of the rarest of Pakistan pegmatite species in specimen form. This wonderful, very aesthetic piece is highlighted by the gemmy, sharp, 1.3 cm, mint-green crystal adorably perched atop the very sharp, lustrous, blocky, tabular albite crystals. The left edges of the large albite are dinged, but have minimal impact to the dramatic display quality of this extra showy combination from the Herb Obodda dealer stock. Herb valued this beauty at $550, more than five years ago. It is worth more today.
