Item Description

Green Hydroxylherderite only came out in a few pockets and is one of the rarest of Pakistan pegmatite species in specimen form. This specimen is a sharp, rather lustrous, well-formed, notably gemmy, bicolor crystal of Hydroxlherderite. The colors seems to change in different lighting, but we mostly agree that they range from yellow-green in areas to an aqua-lilac hue in other areas with slight orangey hues around the edges. The tip of the termination is opaque for some reason, which actually throws another color into the mix. Additionally, it shows a unique fluorescence along the edges, but no fluorescence on the broad front prism face. No real damage that I can see with the naked eye, save the bottom. Ex Herb Obodda PERSONAL COLLECTION, not inventory. A fine quality and beautiful thumbnail Herderite specimen from Pakistan. Valued at $900.
