Item Description

RARE and impressive large combination from this obscure extinct small Riverside County pegmatite worked in the late 1960s and early 1970 s. A textbook, sharp, translucent, 1.8 cm doubly terminated hydroxyherderite crystal is aesthetically set on the sculptural matrix. The striking large, lustrous, pristine terminated smoky quartz crystal is 5.8 cm and the partially kaolinite clay-coated smoky is 4.4 cm. The clay coated microcline crystals are a RARE and a very fine accessory and complement. The sharply terminated, well repaired microcline is 3.5 cm. Both the coated smoky and coated microclines host tiny hydroxyherderites, additional super accessories!
