Item Description
Attractive large specimen of gemmy, poker-chip Hydroxy-apophyllites (up to 2.5 cm) that richly coat the matrix. The crystals have superb luster, and are gemmy. Let me rephrase, they have SICK, unnatural-looking, wet luster that looks like polished glass! The is some bruising on the specimen, but the central portion is pristine and sharp. An excellent specimen, significant for beauty and size, of this rare apophyllite varietal that is much less common worldwide in zeolite deposits than fluor-apophyllite (which is what all the Indian material is).
