Item Description

An incredibly rare specimen of the copper aluminum hydroxy sulfate, Hydrowoodwardite from the type locality in Germany, the St. Briccius Mine, which is an ancient Copper mine, started around 1400 and abandoned in 1892. This is one of only a handful of pieces of this species that we've seen, and comes with a classic label from Josef Vajdak / Pequa Rare Minerals, which immediately increases the value.
