Hydrocerussite on Cerussite (superb!)

Item Description

A showy specimen of cyclically-twinned, gray Cerussite crystals altering to Hydrocerussite, from the great mine of Tsumeb. The gemmy Cerussite is partially altered on the outside to Hydrocerussite, and the form and definition is retained. The twinning appears to be closed, where you can't see the finger-like expression of the twins. There is some contacting, primarily on the bottom and back, but it really doesn't affect the overall aesthetics A good example of an uncommon Tsumeb combination.
