Item Description
Hydroboracite is a rare hydrated borate. This is a very fine specimen of diverging sprays of large, 7 mm crystals. The Hydroboracite has waxy to pearly luster and is nicely set in matrix. These are associated with sharp, white, spear-shaped Colemanite crystals to 5 mm that are more abundant on the under side of the specimen. Old material from Death Valley. Rarely crystallized in such quality as you see here.
