Stunning neon-green fluorescence and amazing sculptural form on this miniature chalcedony matrix hyalite opal (now called opal-AN) from a 2019 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. The fantastic raised shallow bowl or floral shaped opal is composed of botryoidal, gemmy, glassy and colorless hyalite opal. An incredibly fanciful 360-degree miniature from the find. Common enough in flat plates and in round vugs, but this minaiture has a particular style to it...a 3-dimensional look that is fairly unique. It is just different than others, and we love it...very sparkly, very beautiful.
