Item Description

Hutchinsonite is a rare thallium, lead, arsenic sulfosalt. Brilliant, metallic, striated, vermillion-scarlet lathes to about 7 mm are richly and attractively concentrated near the crest of the dense sulfide matrix. Collected in the late 1970s and early 1980s from the Quiruvilca Mine, these are considered to be the worlds finest examples of this very rare species. Choice and rich material.
