Item Description

Hutchinsonite is a very rare thallium sulfosalt, with the best examples in the world coming from this famous mine. A sculptural 1.5 cm long cluster of lustrous, red to black prisms is aesthetically placed on the rolling mounded sulfide matrix covered with a crust of matte-gray native arsenic. The large crystal is 8 mm, which is large for the species. This is excelllent, RARE, older combination material from the 1970s or early 80s finds. Very seldom on the market in this style and combination.
