Item Description

Classic specimen from what is undoubtedly the world's best location for the Hutchinsonite crystals. The Orpiment extends in a band from end to end of the specimen, growing in lustrous, fine yellow-orange needles up to several mm. The color and luster are very good. The Hutchinsonite, which is very rare, covers the entire face of the specimen, and is in finely-crystallized to well-crystallized blades. A couple of the Huthinsonites are actually in radial sprays up to 1 cm tip-to-tip, and are very aesthetic. The needles are sharp and have a superb metallic luster. A terrific and rare specimen of this rare THALLIUM containing species. Valued $400.
