Hureaulite with Rockbridgeite

Item Description

A nice thumbnail association specimen of the rare manganese phosphate Hureaulite which has formed beautiful orange-pink, sharp, lustrous, translucent monoclinic blades which are associated with a few tiny dark greenish-brown spots of the rare iron phosphate, Rockbridgeite. Arguably, the Jocao pegmatite (Cigana Mine) is the most famous locality for Hureaulite in Brazil, as it has produced some of the best crystals with the finest color of the species extant.
