Item Description
A rich and beautiful specimen of the Manganese / Iron phosphate Hureaulite from Brazil. Dozens if of sharp, lustrous, translucent, rich pinkish-orange monoclinic crystals densely packed together associated with Triphylite, Rockbridgeite and Reddingite on matrix. Good matrix display specimens of this material are not available on the market from virtually any world locality. This species was named by Franuois Alluaud in 1826 the type locality, the village of Hureaux ("Hureaux"), Haute Vienne, France. Good quality and worthwhile for any phosphate collector.
