Item Description
A giant 26 cm tall quartz crystal, on a matrix of smaller quartz crystals, from this famous discovery. The cluster is entirely re-healed and shows no point of attachment. The light gray color is due to minute inclusions of black shale, which are about 450 million years old. The Vortex Vein is probably the single-most valuable vein of crystals in the world! Valued at $3500-4500 as a fair retail value from the mine itself, if you were to purchase it there literally from the owner.
