Huge orange Creedite

A huge sculptural specimen of intergrown orange creedite balls. This is one of the largest Navidad orange creedites we have offered at auction. The balls are covered with gemmy, burnt-orange to colorless crystals to about 1.5 cm. This dramatic piece even has a bit of fluorite on one end. For the extravagantly large size, there are very few broken crystals noted on the display face! The flange of matrix on the top right of the back is a fine accent. The contact on the top, left side of the piece is mostly out-of-sight. This is a visually impactful and impressive large piece. 6.4 pounds or 2.9 kilos. Fairly valued at $1000-1500, for size and quality.
