Huge DT Diopside crystal ex. Nowakowski Coll.

Item Description

An impressive, large, sharp and rare doubly terminated diopside crystal from this less well-known Quebec area. The lustrous crystal have rich green color, nifty layering and is partially translucent. Complete all-around and nearly pristine. The display face is pristine and the bruising to the back prism face at the upper termination is out-of-sight. There are two mines in the area, that did produce diopside crystals. This an extremely large, rare and excellent example of the species and locale. Ex Robert Nowakowski Collection.
